Was machst du?

Du bist für die kontinuierliche Optimierung der Architektur auf Basis eines Domain-Driven Designs verantwortlich
Du wägst den Tradeoff von einem modularen Monolithen vs. einer Microservice-Architecture, insbesondere mit dem Hintergrund nicht-funktionaler Anforderungen, ab
Du definierst die Standards für die kontinuierliche Verbesserung der Code Qualität (Clean-Code, KISS, TDD, etc.)
Du implementierst ein aktives Qualitätsmanagement zur Einhaltung der Standards
Du bist verantwortlich für den Team-Aufbau und die erkennbare Weiterentwicklung des Java Chapters

Was brauchst du?

Du bringst ein erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Informatik oder ein vergleichbares technisches Studium mit
Du bringst langjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung mit Java EE und dem Spring Boot Framework mit und hast bereits mehrere Jahre deine Führungskompetenz in einer vergleichbaren Rolle unter Beweis gestellt
Idealerweise hast du auch bereits Erfahrung mit Quarkus gemacht
Du bringst ein sehr gutes Verständnis für Systemarchitekturen mit für eine möglichst autonome Entwicklung und zukünftige Skalierung
Ebenso bringst du ein gutes Verständnis für Web Application Security zur Vermeidung typischer Security Threats, sowie ein gutes Verständnis für Domain-Driven-Design und Service Architekturen mit
Du hast sehr gute Kenntnisse in der Nutzung von Gitlab, Kafka, Jira und Confluence
Du hast Erfahrung in den agilen Arbeitsweisen nach Scrum und Kanban, sowohl aus einer Produkt- als auch Projekt-Perspektive
Du bringst gute Kenntnisse im Deployment im Umfeld AWS, Docker und K8s mit
Ein gutes Verständnis für Unternehmensziele und unternehmerische Rahmenbedingungen in einem projektartiken B2B Umfeld auf Basis von Standardprodukten runden dein Profil ab

Your responsibilities

Being responsible for the continious optimasation of the architecture based on a domain-driven design
Weighing up the trade-off of a modular monolith vs. a microservice architecture, especially against the backround of non-functional requirements
Defining the standards for the continuous improvement of code quality (clean code, KISS, TDD, etc.)
Implementing active quality management to ensure compliance with the standards
Taking over the technical and methodological development of our Java development team
Being responsible for building up the team and the recognisable further development of the Java Chapter

Your qualifications

Successfully gained a completed degree in computer science or a comparable technical degree
Long-time experience in software development with Java EE and the Spring Boot Framework and demonstrated already your leadership skills in a comparable role for several years
Ideally, being experienced with Quarkus
Very good understanding of system architectures for the most autonomous development and future scaling possible
Good understanding of domain-driven design and service architecture
Good knowledge of the use of Gitlab, Kafka, Jira and Confluence
Experiences in agile working methods according to Scrum and Kanban, both from product and project prospective
Good knowledge of deployment in the AWS, Docker and K8s environment
Good understanding of corporate goals and entrepreurial framework conditions in a project-like B2B environment based on standard products
