Als Teil der Siemens Mobility Familie arbeiten wir beständig daran, den Zugang zu neuen Mobilitätsangeboten einfacher und besser zu gestalten. Mit über 130 klugen Köpfen bei eos.uptrade entwickeln wir an unseren Standorten in Hamburg, Bremen, Lübeck und Dresden digitale Lösungen, die den Ticketkauf für Fahrgäste und den Vertrieb für Verkehrsunternehmen smarter machen. Unser Ziel: Begeisterte Fahrgäste und eine nachhaltige, vernetzte Mobilität.

Bringe deine Expertise ein:

Du berichtest direkt an den CEO und führst etwa 70 Mitarbeitende an mehreren Standorten (Hamburg, Bremen, Lübeck und Dresden) in fünf Teams.
Du steuerst unsere externen Dienstleister in Portugal, Polen und Albanien.
Du übernimmst eine ganzheitliche Führungsaufgabe, in der du nicht nur Deine technische Expertise, sondern auch kommerziellen Sachverstand einbringst.
Du verantwortest die Gesamtarchitektur unserer Softwarelösungen, sowohl im Frontend als auch im Backend.
Darüber hinaus trägst du Sorge dafür, dass das Development für die Projekt- und Produktentwicklungen kosten‑,termin‑ und qualitätsgerecht umgesetzt wird.
Dabei arbeitest du eng mit dem Management‑Team zusammen. Insbesondere hältst du intensiv Fühlung zum Vertrieb, den du z. B. in Angebotsverfahren hinsichtlich technischer Machbarkeit und Ressourcenbedarf berätst.
Zudem arbeitest du eng mit dem Produktmanagement zusammen, das die Weiterentwicklung unseres Lösungsportfolios maßgeblich gestaltet. In dieser Schnittstelle stellst du sicher, dass technische Architektur, Roadmaps und Entwicklungsprioritäten optimal aufeinander abgestimmt sind.
Du treibst den Transformationsprozess unseres Lösungsportfolios zu einer schrittweisen Einführung einer mandantenfähigen,service‑orientierten Architektur auf Basis von Java undPHP Servicesentschlossen voran.
Du treibst zudem die schrittweise Integration von KI‑Technologien in unsere Softwarelösungen und Entwicklungsprozesse voran. Dabei sorgst du dafür, dass wir technologische Chancen gezielt nutzen, unsere Wettbewerbsfähigkeit stärken und unsere Mitarbeitenden befähigen, moderne KI‑gestützte Methoden souverän anzuwenden.
Des Weiteren optimierst du den (agilen) Softwareentwicklungsprozess kontinuierlich.
Für unsere drei Nearshoring‑Standorte nutzt du die dortigen Teams als flexible Ressourcenpools und steuerst ihre Kapazitäten so, dass projektbezogene Spitzen und zusätzliche Entwicklungsbedarfe effizient abgefangen werden können.
Zudem beobachtest du fortlaufend die technologische und marktseitige Entwicklung und leitest daraus strategisch sinnvolle Anpassungen derOrganisations‑ und Teamstrukturen ab, um eine langfristig skalierbare und leistungsfähige Entwicklungsorganisation sicherzustellen.
Du unterstützt die Qualifizierung und Weiterentwicklung deiner Mitarbeitenden und schaffst Raum für Innovationen. Indem du eine positive Kultur förderst, schaffst du auch die Grundlage, um die besten Talente zu gewinnen und auszuwählen.

Was brauchst du?

Du verfügst über ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium (Master / Diplom) in einer informations- oder ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Fachrichtung.
Zudem überzeugst du mit langjähriger Berufs- und Führungserfahrung in der agilen Softwareentwicklung.
Du zeichnest dich einen Hintergrund in einem B2B-Umfeld aus.
Du agierst sicher auf System- / Architekturebene.
Ferner kennst du dich mit Java und idealerweise PHP aus.
Du führst dein internationales Team mit interkulturellem Fingerspitzengefühl.
Du bringst sehr gute Englisch- und Deutschkenntnisse mit.

Your responsibilities:

You report directly to the CEO and lead approximately 70 employees across multiple locations (Hamburg, Bremen, Lübeck, and Dresden) in five teams.
You manage our external service providers in Portugal, Poland, and Albania.
Take on a comprehensive leadership role that combines your technical expertise with commercial acumen.
Be responsible for the overall architecture of our software solutions, both on the frontend and backend sides.
Ensure that development for project and product development is conducted in a cost-effective, timely, and quality-oriented manner.
Collaborate closely with the management team, maintaining strong ties with Sales to advise on technical feasibility and resource requirements during proposal processes.
Work closely with Product Management, which plays a key role in shaping the evolution of our solutions portfolio. At this interface, ensure optimal alignment of technical architecture, roadmaps, and development priorities.
Drive the transformation of our solutions portfolio by gradually introducing a multi-tenant, service-oriented architecture based on Java and PHP services.
Actively advance the gradual integration of AI technologies into our software solutions and development processes. Ensure that we systematically leverage technological opportunities, strengthen our competitive position, and empower our employees to confidently apply modern AI-based methods.
Continuously optimize the (agile) software development process.
Utilize the teams at our three nearshoring locations as flexible resource pools to efficiently address project-related peaks and additional development demands.
Monitor technological and market trends on an ongoing basis, deriving strategically meaningful adaptations to organizational and team structures to ensure a scalable and efficient development organization in the long term.
Support the qualification and development of your team members and provide space for innovation. By fostering a positive culture, you create the foundation for recruiting and selecting the best talents.

Your qualifications:

A university degree (Master’s/Diploma) in an information or engineering-related field.
Extensive professional and leadership experience in agile software development.
Experience in a B2B environment.
Confidence in operating at a systems/architecture level.
Familiarity with Java and, ideally, PHP.
Proven ability to lead an international team with cultural sensitivity.
You possess excellent English and German language skills.
