Bringe deine Expertise ein:

Du bist verantwortlich für die Verwaltung, Wartung und Optimierung unserer Kubernetes-Cluster, um den reibungslosen und hochverfügbaren Betrieb unserer containerisierten Anwendungen sicherzustellen. Das beinhaltet auch die Orchestrierung von Docker-Containern und die Implementierung von Best Practices.
Du konzipierst, implementierst und betreust unsere Cloud-Infrastruktur auf Amazon Web Services (AWS). Dabei arbeitest du aktiv mit Diensten wie EKS, RDS, EC2, S3, WAF und Advanced Shield, um robuste und sichere Umgebungen zu schaffen.
Du treibst die Automatisierung unserer Infrastruktur voran, indem du Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mit Tools wie Terraform, Ansible und Puppet (oder Chef) entwickelst, pflegst und erweiterst.
Du automatisierst wiederkehrende Betriebsaufgaben und Prozesse mit Bash-Skripten und Python, um Effizienz und Konsistenz zu gewährleisten.
Du stellst die Stabilität und Sicherheit unserer System- und Netzwerklandschaften sicher. Dazu gehören die Analyse und Behebung komplexer Probleme sowie Wartungsarbeiten an unserem Standort in Hamburg.
Du implementierst und überwachst Cloud-Sicherheitsprinzipien, um unsere Daten und Systeme vor unbefugtem Zugriff und Angriffen zu schützen.
Du arbeitest eng mit unseren Softwareentwicklungsteams zusammen, berätst sie bei Infrastrukturfragen und stellst optimale Betriebsumgebungen für ihre Anwendungen bereit.
Du konzipierst und priorisierst mit deinem direkten Team Lösungen im Cloudumfeld, um interne und externe Kundenanforderungen zu erfüllen.
Du bist am Betrieb und der Administration unserer GitLab-Instanzen beteiligt.
Du nimmst am Bereitschaftsdienst (On-Call) im Rotationsprinzip teil, um die Verfügbarkeit unserer kritischen Infrastruktursysteme rund um die Uhr zu gewährleisten.
Du kommunizierst professionell und klar mit internen Teams und externen Partnern.

Was brauchst du?

Mindestens 5 - 8 Jahre Erfahrung als Kubernetes Administrator in Umgebungen mit hohen Anforderungen an die Verfügbarkeit.
Erfolgreich abgeschlossene Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Zertifizierung.
2 Jahre Expertise in Cloud-basierten Anwendungsbereitstellungen auf Amazon Web Services (AWS), insbesondere mit Diensten wie EKS, RDS, EC2, S3, WAF und Advanced Shield.
Insgesamt 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Anwendung inklusive Konzeption von Infrastructure as Code (IaC) mit Tools wie Terraform, Ansible und Puppet (oder Chef).
Bereitschaft zur Übernahme von Rufbereitschaft im Wechsel mit Kollegen (24/7 On-Call Support).
Sicherer Umgang mit Bash und Python zur Automatisierung wiederkehrender Aufgaben.
Fundiertes Verständnis des ISO-OSI-Modells, von Netzwerkprotokollen und der grundlegenden Fehlerbehebung von Netzwerkgeräten und Overlay-Netzwerken.
Erfahrung in der Anbindung verschiedener Umgebungen via VPN.
Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der System- und Netzwerkadministration.
Kenntnisse der Cloud-Sicherheitsprinzipien zum Schutz von Cloud-Daten vor unbefugtem Zugriff und Angriffen.
Mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Softwareentwicklungsteams in der Rolle eines Systemadministrators oder einer ähnlichen Position.
Erfahrung im Betrieb von PostgreSQL, MySQL, Apache Cassandra sind wünschenswert (z.B. Aufbau einer Replikation).
Administrative Erfahrung im Betrieb mit GitLab.
Umgang mit MCP-Servern im KI-Umfeld ist wünschenswert.
Professionelle Kommunikationsfähigkeit.
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse.

Your responsibilities:

You manage, maintain, and optimize our Kubernetes clusters to ensure smooth and high-availability operations of our containerized applications. This also includes orchestrating Docker containers and implementing best practices.
You conceptualize, implement, and manage our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This involves extensive work with services like EKS, RDS, EC2, S3, WAF, and Advanced Shield to build robust and secure environments.
You advance the automation of our infrastructure through the development, maintenance, and extension of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet (or Chef).
You automate recurring operational tasks and processes using Bash scripts and Python for maximum efficiency and consistency.
You ensure the stability and security of our system and network landscapes, analyzing and resolving complex issues while performing maintenance tasks at our Hamburg site.
You implement and monitor cloud security principles to protect our data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
You collaborate closely with our software development teams, advising on infrastructure-related questions and providing optimal operating environments for their applications.
You conceptualize and prioritize cloud-based solutions together with your team to fulfill internal and external customer requirements.
You are actively involved in the operation and administration of our GitLab instances.
You participate in the on-call duty rotation to ensure the 24/7 availability of our critical infrastructure systems.
You communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.

Your qualifications:

At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator in high-availability environments.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification successfully completed.
2 years of expertise in cloud-based application deployments on Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially with services like EKS, RDS, EC2, S3, WAF, and Advanced Shield.
A total of 5 years of experience applying and designing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Puppet (or Chef).
Willingness to take on-call shifts in rotation with colleagues (24/7 on-call support).
Proficient in Bash and Python for automating recurring tasks.
Strong understanding of the ISO-OSI model, network protocols, and basic troubleshooting of network devices and overlay networks.
Experience connecting different environments via VPN.
At least 5 years of experience in system and network administration.
Knowledge of cloud security principles to protect data in the cloud from unauthorized access and threats.
5+ years of experience working with software development teams as a system administrator or in a similar role.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Apache Cassandra (e.g., replication setup) is desirable.
Administrative experience with GitLab operations.
Familiarity with MCP servers in AI-related environments is an advantage.
Professional communication skills.
Excellent proficiency in both German and English.
